high quality product & cats LOVE it Easy to assemble, solid/sturdy, and clean-looking. Our decor is more "lodge" style and I was worried this would look too "modern" but it really fits in nicely. We placed it in front of a large bay window and both cats are happy using every perch level throughout the day. The carpet patches get used heavily but aren't fraying or breaking down. The weight is distributed such that the center of gravity is low enough to keep it from being "tippy" without requiring a massive base. A+ rating for cats & humans!

Worth the Price I hesitated for a couple of weeks before purchasing this product, due to the price, I can now say without hesitation BUY it. It's worth every penny. The tree is well made and easy to put together. My 2 kittens (5 months old) couldn't wait for me to unpack it all, and went into the box and started scratching on the inserts. After it was assembled the immediately started climbing all over it and began playing with their hanging toy. Not a day goes by were the kittens are not on the tree. Best cat purchase ever!

Happy gymnast kittens! Square Cat Habitat makes the best quality and most beautiful cat furniture!! This is our second cat tree from SCH. We have multiple Scratchers too. The mohair carpet squares stand up to daily scratching, clean up easily with a good swipe of a cat brush and can be washed. Very classy. Our 8 month old kittens Maxwell Edison and Nico LOVE the tree and climbed on it while we were assembling it. Our adult cat Lucia -- who didn't sit on the first SCH tree we had for a whole year -- is still eyeing the stunning 5 foot wonder. Except for the kitten inspectors, assembly was a breeze. Customer service is top notch too.

Very cool and durable We had one of the bamboo trees donated to our rescue 6 years ago! It has survived numerous cats and kittens over the years. Recently it was given to one of our volunteers when all new furniture was donated. It was pretty scratched up when it went to it's new home, but I understand it has been restored to practically new. And it still has it's original scratching pads!

Me and My Cats Approve Love this bamboo tree, I've had it for 2 yrs now and it looks as good as new. Just recently added the Acacia tree for my growing furry family. Would love to see a variety of floor products from SCH in bamboo. Great product and wonderful customer service!

Cats and humans love it This cat tree purchase (it was a splurge!) was as much for us as it is for the cats. The Baobab has a prominent space in our living room, and we wanted a design that we wanted to look at AND that the cats love. Our two cats took to this immediately and use it daily. It's very sturdy and exceptionally well-made. It was also VERY easy to put together, though I recommend a second person to have around to help hold the larger pieces when you are attaching them. Square Cat Habitat offers excellent customer service. We wanted to see samples of base materials, and they arranged this for us (only had to pay a small shipping charge). Also, they were accommodating when we purchased the Baobab--we wanted them to wait a week over the holidays to ship the cat tree, and they were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

wonderful product My cat LOVES this tree. It is beautiful and simple. Sturdy. Modern. I bought the mohair inserts and Smokey goes after it with his claws and it has held up just fine. I like the ability to remove the inserts to clean on occasion. Those in my family who are craftsman always examine and admire it. So glad to have found this item.

Cozy Cats I purchased my first cat tree in 2012 for Tortie Peanut. In 2015 I rescued Tabby cat Cashew and bought him his own Baobab tree. They love their trees and I love that they blend in with my furniture.

I love and (more importantly) they love our Baobab cat tree I've been wanting to write a review for a while now... The day the tree was built, Leo and Penelope immediately started exploring. Penelope has since claimed the top perch as her own and sits up there every day, looking out the window or overseeing our living room activities from above. Poor Leo isn't allowed up during those times and maybe we will have to get him his own Square Cat furniture... Pros: clean lines and modern look, blends very well into our home (tall white walls and big windows), very sturdy even when a cat runs towards and up it, easy to clean (wipe with a cloth) and vacuum the scratch pads, doesn't accumulate dust and cat fur like those carpeted ones. Cons: none. :) Absolutely worth the cost! We love our tree and really appreciate that someone is applying true style to every day things like our cat's furniture. Thank you!

Best Cat Tree Ever! I purchased this tree for my two cats (ages 1 and 5) after having to get rid of a traditional, carpet covered tree when my kitten started pulling out and eating the fibers at the carpet edges. I'm so happy I did because it's the best cat tree I've ever seen! I purchased it in the white laminated SDF with plush inserts and it looks great! It was easy to assemble, it's easy to wipe down and keep clean, and it's very sturdy. Whereas a regular cat tree would be looking ratty after a year of wear and tear, this one looks brand new. I love the height of the tower-- slightly above me so the cats feel I'm in my rightful place and they can get a good look outside our window, and I love the spacing of the steps-- my kitten can run up and down them like a maniac, but they're easy for my middle aged cat to go up and down. Lots of steps means both of them can be on it without too much arguing. I'd recommend this tree to anyone, it's perfect!

Perfect - Durable & Stylish As a shelter, we often cannot use cat trees because they are covered by products that we cannot sanitize between cats. The high quality bamboo construction holds up to the cleaning necessary in a shelter environment and the carpet squares have lasted for almost two years now...and that is with being subjected to the washing machine between residents. We searched high and low for a cat tree that would fit our needs - the cats at our shelter thank the designers at Square Cat Habitat for this perfect cat tree.

Fleas b-gone I was at my wits end with a flea infestation, and removed all carpet from my little 2 room apartment. Sadly, that meant dumping the carpet-covered cat tree. When I found this tree, I was ecstatic. The carpet pieces are removable for washing, which I do frequently. And it's beautiful to boot. I've had it about a year and it still looks great. My cat, Missy, likes to run from one end of the apartment to the top of the tree at breakneck speed, and there's barely a wobble. Also, the tree was very easy to assemble; for me that's saying a lot. Buy one and you won't regret the investment.

Our Cats Love This, Our Interior Designer Loves It More We've had our Baobab Cat Tree for almost a year, and it continues to be the most contested spot in the house for our two Siberian kittens. Our cats are big guys, 14 lbs and growing, and this cat tree manages to stay stable as they fight for the top perch. When we first got our cats, I was worried that I'd end up with a carpeted monstrosity in the middle of our living room. Fortunately, this particular cat tree looks sleek next to our modern furniture while being durable and well loved by our cats.

Purrfect Modern Cat Design LOVE this company and their products. I have bought multiple Baobabs for different rooms in our house for our two cats. Sleek modern, eco friendly design with a touch of colorful carpet that the cats enjoy sitting and napping on. These cat trees are purrfect in front of a window or near a higher ledge the cats want to jump to. They remind me of spiral staircases. Easy to put together and keep clean. Very sturdy. Most importantly is the excellent customer service. This is one of my most favorite cat trees and used daily by our cats.
